Posted by: chrisslocombe

WSVN-Fox 7 in Miami, Florida have reported that WR Donte’ Stallworth was over the  legal limt of .08. The Stallworth Pedestrian Killed Footballstation claims that Stallworth’s blood alcohol level registered at .12.  WSVN’s reports have not been confirmed or even released by the Miami Beach police at this point in time.

However if these claims hold true Stallworth could face DUI manslaughter charges which carry with them a 15-year sentence.

Stallworth released an offical apology through the club yesterday.

This can’t be good. The news report reads very unequivocal.  It seems we are headed for confirmation that Donte was legally drunk.  It should be noted, however, that killing someone with a motor vehicle while over the legal blood alcohol limit is not necessarily manslaughter…sometimes those facts lead to another lesser charge depending on the circumstances.
