Shaun Rogers Pleads Not Guilty, Forgot Gun Was in Bag

Boy, do I know the feeling! I plan on going somewhere, pack my bags, but forget that I left my loaded gun in one of them! It’s such a common mistake, and Browns nose tackle Shaun Rogers confessed to that on Saturday when he plead not guilty to his concealed weapons charge.

This charge carries a maximum sentence of 18 months in prison, but, again, I’d say probation will be his punishment at worst. Rogers apologized to fans and the team, saying he inconveniently forgot that it was in there. Naturally, he didn’t mean to take the gun to the airport.

Biggest Understatement of the Century nominee: Rogers will “make sure to check everything” before flying to Houston on Saturday to spend Easter with his family.
