Cleveland Browns Dip into Arena Football to Take a Gamble

See what I did there? The Browns have signed free agent tight end Joel Gamble, who spent the final four weeks of the 2009 season on the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad.

Gamble has been jumping around with a number of indoor football teams, playing with the DC Armor of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) in 2009, but also spending time with the Tennessee Valley Vipers and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in 2007 and the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings in 2008.

Most of you are going to read this news and think: why can’t training camp just start already?

Also, is there a worse team name in sports than the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz?
