QB Colt McCoy Taking First-Team Reps in Practice Today

For those of you who don’t think you can stomach the thought of seeing Jake Delhomme start this Sunday in Cincinnati, you might be able to stop worrying. Quarterback Colt McCoy will be taking a “decent amount” of first-team reps today in practice to determine his status for the game against the Bengals.

This is certainly a good sign for McCoy, and if he has no limitations, it’s highly likely that he’ll get the nod on Sunday. Head coach Eric Mangini might be feeling the heat a little bit and would obviously like to give this team the best chance to win.
