How Would You Grade the Cleveland Browns’ First Round of the 2012 NFL Draft?

The Cleveland Browns were one of the most exciting teams to watch on the first night of the 2012 NFL Draft, as they traded up one spot for running back Trent Richardson and surprised everyone by selecting quarterback Brandon Weeden with the 22nd overall pick.

There is no hiding the fact that the Browns are in desperate need of offensive playmakers and it’s safe to say they addressed that in the first round of the draft. Granted, the team went without selecting a wide receiver or offensive lineman (or even a linebacker, if you want to look on the defensive side of the ball), but it should be noted for those sent into a fit of rage that that’s why the draft lasts more than just one round.

Looking back on the Browns’ first round of action, how would you grade their selections? Glad they traded up for Richardson? Scratching your head at the selection of Brandon Weeden?
