Will QB Colt McCoy Be on the Cleveland Browns’ Roster During the 2012 Season?

With the addition of new quarterback Brandon Weeden, the future of Colt McCoy in the Cleveland Browns’ organization is up in the air. If anything, he will likely be the backup to Weeden, but that’s only if McCoy is willing to take a back seat and the situation doesn’t cause a firestorm of distractions (which really only seems inevitable).

The thing is, McCoy would make a serviceable backup to Weeden. But is it worth all the questions that will come with it? Do the Browns just need to make a clean break and completely start over?

In other words, is the writing on the wall for Colt McCoy?
