Browns DT Phil Taylor Will Play Sunday, Might Be Limited

The Cleveland Browns will get a big boost to their defense this Sunday, as defensive tackle Phil Taylor – out all season after undergoing pectoral surgery – will finally return to action.

Though he has been practicing since last week, Taylor said he might still be limited during the game.

"“I’m probably not going to start. I’ll probably be a little limited,” Taylor said after practice Wednesday. “I’m not excited or nervous. Just ready to go.” (Source: The News-Herald)"

As for Taylor’s fellow injured defensive tackle, Ahtyba Rubin, it doesn’t appear that he will be ready to go just yet. Rubin is dealing with a calf injury that has kept him out of practice.

Rookies Billy Winn and John Hughes have served well in the absence of Rubin and Taylor, and it will be interesting to see how the line performs when they are eventually placed in the rotation where originally intended.
