Redskins QB Robert Griffin III Out; Kirk Cousins to Start Against Browns
The Cleveland Browns continue their streak of playing backup quarterbacks today, as rookie Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins will start in place of the injured Robert Griffin III.
Griffin hurt his knee last week against the Baltimore Ravens in a play that, apparently, looked far more gruesome than it was. Nevertheless, Griffin isn’t able to go against the Browns, even after a week of practice that nearly proved otherwise.
The Browns will be going for their fourth straight win today and the prospects of pulling it off just got a whole lot better.
