turkey, stuffing, and my favorite, the pumpkin pie!!

Big news coming out Berea on Tuesday, was the signing of quarterback Alex Tanney off of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.  Tanney, 26, played football at Monmouth College, where he shattered every record in the books.  He finished his college career with 14,429 yards and 157 touchdowns.  The 14,429 yards he threw for still stands as the most ever in Division III football.

Some of you probably have seen Tanney’s now infamous trick throws video on YouTube.

In other news coming out of Browns headquarters, they also claimed former Cowboys’ tight end Andre Smith off waivers.  Smith, is in his third year out of Savannah State and looks to help fill the lack of depth the Browns have at that position.  At 6’5 and 270lbs, the tight end is another big target for “someone” to throw to.

Hope everyone is preparing for a great meal tomorrow and if you or a loved one is traveling for the holidays, may you have safe travels wherever you are going!!!

Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski’s comments on the hit to quarterback Jason Campbell on Sunday, which led him to send a copy of the tape to the league office for clarification.  “Those are the plays in the games that are important,” said Chudzinski. “Certainly, hopefully, we’ll have Jason back soon.”

Browns linebacker Paul Kruger on how a missed call on something as crucial as the non call on the blow to the head of quarterback Jason Campbell.  “This is a game of inches and those plays make a world of difference when a call’s missed or you miss a play,” said Kruger. “Anything can happen in a football game.”
