Another name has emerged in the Cleveland Browns coaching search.  The names that have been mentioned most prominently have been Josh McDaniels and Bill O’Brien, but it would also be surprising if they do not interview defensive coordinator Ray Horton.  Adam Gase, the offensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos has entered the picture as a possibility.

The first thing that stands out about Gase is his age; he is 35.  That only makes him the fourth youngest coordinator, but would obviously be a huge story if he were to be hired as a head coach.  He is in his first season as the offensive coordinator of the Broncos, but his fifth overall with the team.  Gase replaced Mike McCoy, who took the San Diego Chargers job last year..  Before that, Gase was the quarterbacks coach for the team.

Every candidate that has been mentioned for the position outside of the organization has been their experience on the offensive side of the ball.  Gase has experience worked for LSU, the Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers.
