It was a day like so many others for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Browns lost to an Oakland Raiders team that had not won on the road since November of 2012, had lost 19 of its previous 20 road games, and had not won a game in the Eastern time zone in 17 tries.

Yep, it was that kind of day for the guys in the minor league all-brown uniforms.

There were a few bright spots, however, starting with tight end Gary Barnidge, who had a career day with six receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. It was Barnidge’s first 100-yard receiving day as a pro and his fourth career touchdown.

According to the team’s website, here are some other stats and facts from Sunday’s game:

  • Wide receiver Travis Benjamin is leading the team with five total touchdowns (four receiving and one punt return) and 249 receiving yards this season. He is the first Brown to record a touchdown reception in three consecutive games since wide receiver Josh Gordon did it in five straight games in 2013.
  • Quarterback Josh McCown threw for 341 yards and a pair of touchdowns, his 10th career 300-yard passing game and 19th career multiple-touchdown game. His 49 pass attempts were a career-high, surpassing his previous mark of 48 set last season as a member of the Buccaneers. McCown’s 341 passing yards were the most by a Browns quarterback since Jason Campbell threw for 391 at New England on Dec. 8, 2013.
  • Left tackle Joe Thomas extended his consecutive-snaps streak to 8,095, the longest active stretch in the league. Thomas has started all 131 games and hasn’t missed an offensive play since being selected by the Browns with the third overall pick in the 2007 draft.
  • Kicker Travis Coons converted field goals from 24 and 41 yards and two extra points. He is three-for-three on field goal attempts this season and seven-of-seven on extra points.
  • The Browns defense had one takeaway, a fourth-quarter forced fumble by linebacker Christian Kirksey that was recovered by defensive lineman John Hughes. The Browns defense has recovered four fumbles in the past two games.
  • Defensive lineman Xavier Cooper made his NFL debut.
