NFL Network’s Top 100 players list has been revealed over the past few months, and the Cleveland Browns only see one of their own make the list.

NFL Network has been revealing its annual Top 100 NFL players list every week for the past few months, and while the order of the final 10 has not been announced, the players have been named in no particular order.

When looking at the final list, Cleveland Browns fans will notice only one Browns player made the list, which is still better than the zero combined from the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears.

The only Browns player to make the list is Joe Thomas, who came in at No. 25. Thomas has been on the list since it began in 2011, and will continue to make it likely until he decides to hang up his cleats for good.

The Browns have had players like Joe Haden and even Gary Barnidge make the list alongside Thomas in the past, but Thomas was the only worthy choice from the team this year. However, others should be able to join him in the coming years.

Players like Jamie Collins, Kevin Zeitler, Myles Garrett and Jabrill Peppers are all possible candidates for next year’s list, while plenty of the young players on the team can have breakout years and prove why they should be considered among the best in the league. Corey Coleman and Emmanuel Ogbah are two names that come to mind.

But for now, Thomas remains the face of the franchise. Not only has he played every snap since being drafted in 2007, but he is vocal off the field in support of players’ rights which makes him popular around the NFL.

Ideally, the team would have more top talent on the roster, but fans are excited about the potential on the roster. And for a team considered to be one of the worst in the NFL, all that potential could lead to a surprising season for the Browns.
