The Browns are mourning the loss of one of the greatest players the team has ever had – Gene Hickerson.  One of the 16 Hall of Fame players the Browns have had in the team’s long and storied history, he was known as being one of the best offensive guards the game has ever seen.  He was a lineman for the legendary Jim Brown and played on the 1964 championship team – the last Browns team to win it all.  He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.  Gene Hickerson will be missed not only by the Cleveland Browns, but by the entire NFL community.
