Browns Release 7 Players
Well the Ken Dorsey era has officially come to an end here in Cleveland, as well as the Bruce Gradkowski one too.
The two QBs where among seven players released by the team Monday, which was the first day teams could start cutting rosters. Among the other players cut where often hurt LB Antwan Peek, who just two years ago was signed to an $8 million deal and thought to be able to provide a pass rush opposite Kamerion Wimbley, depth singing CB Terry Cousin.
The team also released three players who spent time in camp on on the practice squad in punter Mike Dragosavich, o-lineman Eric Young, and kicker Jason Reda.
None of this news is all that surprising, other than the fact that the team released two QBs and by all accounts seem to be shopping QB Derek Anderson too, which would leave the team thin heading into the draft. (Note: I would hate to see the team waste a pick on a QB this draft, there are a number of other more glaring needs to be filled first.)
