Running Back Peyton Hillis Not Going to Play Against the Miami Dolphins
The worst-case scenario of running back Peyton Hillis’ sickness has been realized, as he has been ruled out for today’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
He left practice on Friday with strep throat and a fever and had been questionable for the game over the weekend. The bulk of the carries will now be given to Montario Hardesty, who has yet to prove himself in the Browns offense. If there was ever a chance to prove that you deserve more carries, today would be the day.
The Browns will likely rely on the passing game this afternoon, as the Dolphins have one of the worst-ranked pass defenses in the league, giving up 361.5 yards per game.
