Don’t Expect the Browns to Trade for WR James Jones
It has become common practice that, when a wide receiver is said to be on the trading block, Browns fans immediately want the team to trade for him. This time, it comes in the form of the Green Bay Packers’ James Jones, who is said to be unhappy with his role on the depth chart.
Not surprisingly, the team doesn’t appear to be interested in trading for Jones.
While Colt McCoy’s name is mentioned whenever a potential trade for the Browns pops up, it just doesn’t seem likely that the team will make a move before training camp, even if it’s for a disgruntled receiver that could make an impact in Cleveland.
Jones is entering his fourth season, and caught 38 passes for 635 yards and seven touchdowns in 2011.
