Browns Conference Call notes with Rob Chudzinski
By Peter Smith
Cleveland Browns head coach talked to the media via conference call and the first thing he mentioned was how great the fans were yesterday and how big the win was. He also talked about how important the last drive was that ended in a field goal and worked to eat up almost the entire remaining game clock.

Regarding injuries, Jason Campbell’s x-rays on his ribs came back negative. He may practice tomorrow. Greg Little was diagnosed with a shoulder sprain and might practice tomorrow. Quentin Groves will not practice tomorrow with a knee injury and MarQueis Gray will be out due to a hamstring issue. Eric Martin will be able to practice despite a knee injury.
One of the focuses during the bye for the Browns will be continuing to work on improving on both sides of the ball on third downs. They will continue to evaluate possible quarterback options, but they seem to be happy with what they have in house right now. Chud thought Campbell played well and expected the toughness he showed in the game. They think he is fine healthwise.
When asked about whether or not Little was choked as photos suggest he might have been, Chud basically played ignorant and just said both guys were tussling in there. He said he has not seen the photos. Going further on Little, Chud mentioned him attacking the football and making plays after the catch. He said his improvement is visible.
The Browns suffered injuries to four players on special teams which put them in ‘fire drill’ mode according to Chud.
Chud sent texts to John Fox and Gary Kubiak to get well with their current health situations; pointed out the obvious. It is a high stress job.
