Speaking of exciting news, yesterday as you all may have seen right here at Dawg Pound Daily, the Browns released their $120 million vision for renovations to First Energy Stadium.  The plan will take two off seasons to complete, but when it’s done, the stadium will be equipped with two new video boards that are three times the size of the current boards.

Also included in the proposal are LED video boards, which would show stats, scores, and other information.  Additional seating from the upper-bowl will be moved to the lower-bowl to improve the fan experience.  Currently, the Browns have the lowest lower-bowl seating in the league.

In other good news coming out of Berea on Wednesday, Browns quarterback Jason Campbell has been throwing the ball with good velocity all week.  At this point, he may not even need to wear extra protection for his bruised ribs on Sunday.

Well this week has been peppered with good news since Monday, so let’s hope it continues to trend upwards as we progress towards Sunday.

Browns quarterback Jason Campbell on what the Browns need to do in order to come home from Cincinnati with a win. “We’ve got a big opponent this week in Cincinnati,” he said, “understanding that they’re coming off a big loss in Baltimore, so they’re going to be pumped up and ready to go so going on the road we have to communicate better. We have to make sure we start together and we have to go out and play extremely hard. You’ve got to leave everything on the field in games like this.”

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam on the stadium improvements that are forthcoming.  “By 2015 we’re going to have a place that’s dramatically different to watch football,” Haslam said at the press conference.
