As if the Browns offense and special teams weren’t scary enough on this day, it got a lot scarier for the team on the tarmac.

According to the twitter account belonging to offensive lineman Jason Pinkston, the Browns team charter had a huge scare on approach into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport this evening.

After a day of highs and lows for this Cleveland Browns team, this was definitely not how they wanted to have their night end with a near scare on their return home.

Thank God,  whoever was piloting that plane was able to control it well enough when it touched down on faulty landing gear to get it to a complete stop without a tragic ending.

Now the players can take a deep breath, relax and get onto the next order of business which is preparing for next weeks big game against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

With a Steelers win at home against the Lions, and a Ravens loss at Chicago today, the Browns find themselves in a three-way tie for second place in the division.

They host the Steelers next week in Cleveland, so if the Browns have any hopes in getting back in the division race, it starts at First Energy Stadium next Sunday against the Steelers
