Breakfast with Brownie
By Mike
Good Morning Browns Fans!!!!!
Well some injury news coming out of Berea on Wednesday, and it wasn’t very encouraging to say the least.
Newly acquired punt returner/receiver Armanti Edwards stint with the Browns this season has come to a disastrous end. Edwards was put on injured reserve Wednesday with a season ending ankle injury.
Coach Rob Chudzinski said Jordan Poyer and Davone Bess would share the punt returning duties going forward.
The Browns may also be without inside linebacker Craig Robertson, who sat out practice on Wednesday with a sprained right knee he suffered in the loss to Cincinnati last Sunday.
Robertson was spotted hobbling around the locker room with a brace on his injured knee. Tank Carder, who has one career start in his career and a primary special teams player looks to get the start for the injured Robertson.
Defensive end Armonty Bryant, was also a member of the walking wounded in the Browns locker room sitting out Wednesday’s practice with back stiffness. This one doesn’t seem serious however, and he is expected to play on Sunday.
In other roster related news, receiver Josh Cooper was promoted from the practice squad, and signed receiver Reggie Dunn to the practice squad.

Browns wide receiver Greg Little on the remorse he feels for all the people he hurt in the agent scandal that resulted in his suspension from North Carolina in 2010, and his subsequent ban from the college. “I think there’s been some wrongful accusing,” Little said. “There’s a lot of people that I’ve hurt, and I think a lot of the blame should be put on me much less than attacking other people.”
“North Carolina’s a great university and I wish things weren’t the way they were,” Little said. “I’ll just continue to support them from afar.”
Browns quarterback Jason Campbell on being so hard on himself after the loss in Cincinnati on Sunday. “I was hard on myself Sunday night and Monday,” said Campbell. “I really was hurt by the outcome of the game because it was a game I felt like we had a chance to win and put ourselves in a really good position (in the AFC North). The fact that it didn’t happen, what can you do about it now but learn from it and move on?
