Good Morning Browns Fans!!!!

Well, as usual, we are waking up on Monday morning licking our wounds and wondering why we just can’t have a

winning, consistent team in Cleveland.

The Browns not only lost the game on Sunday, but once again lost quarterback Jason Campbell to a concussion, that was a borderline hit to the head and maybe should have been flagged.  Regardless of the no call, the damage was done as Campbell fumbled on the play, and one play later quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hit wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in the end zone to put the Steelers up 20-3 with 7:43 left in the third quarter.

The one bright spot for the Cleveland Browns on this snowy cold day, was the outstanding play of wide receiver Josh Gordon.  He tied a team record with 14 receptions and set a club mark with 237 yards, breaking the long-time record that was held by Hall of Fame tight end Ozzie Newsome.

Believe it or not, the Browns still have an outside shot at making the playoffs, with the AFC being pretty weak this year with six teams with a record of 5-6, including the Tennessee Titans who are sitting in the last playoff spot.

At this point, we are already discussing which quarterback we will take in the 2014 NFL draft, which is pretty familiar to Browns fans, considering that has been our Super Bowl for as long as we can remember.

Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski on the loss yesterday to the Pittsburgh Steelers.  “It’s disappointing,” Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said. “Losing is never easy. We weren’t good enough today. Give Pittsburgh credit.  “We’ve missed opportunities the last two weeks. The men in that locker room there have a lot of character, and I believe in them and believe in our coaches. We have lost some of the control we had in our own future, but we will bounce back and be ready to play next week.”

Browns safety TJ Ward on how it is not fun losing the way the Browns did yesterday.  “I’m tired of losing in this manner.  It’s a little bit different if you go to the wire and you’re fighting the whole game and you have an opportunity to win the game in the end, but we’re out of the game in the fourth quarter.  Nobody wants to play like that.”

>Well the game didn’t go as planned, so I guess this was a fitting sight.  The fans in the end zone holding the giant Dawg Pound banner, didn’t realize until it was too late, that the banner was upside down.  When it rains it pours!!!

>If this isn’t a stat that screams offensive ineptitude I don’t know what is.  This team needs a franchise quarterback, and cannot afford to miss on the pick in May.

>Is there really another tweet that sums up how we are all feeling about this football team right now.  The fans deserve so much better!!
