Good Morning Browns Fans and Happy Gameday!!

So, the Browns host the 2-9 Jacksonville Jaguars today in a battle of the cellar dwellers.

The Jaguars have won two out of their last three games and have played better football in recent weeks.

This has been a pretty quiet week in Berea, with not much notable news coming out at all.  Although it’s been Thanksgiving week, there just really isn’t much to report or talk about.

Quarterback Jason Campbell has been ruled out for Sunday’s game as expected, and backup Brandon Weeden will be under center for the Browns offense.  Weeden has been  awful for the Browns offense this year, completing 117 of 227 passes for 1,361 yards, six touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Unless there has been some drastic changes made between this week and last, we should expect the same dismal quarterback play from Weeden during Sunday’s matchup with the Jaguars.

Once a definite win on the schedule, tomorrow could very well be a long day for Weeden and the Browns….

Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, when told the single season receiving record was within his reach before year’s end.  “The single-season record? That would be a great deal,” said Gordon. “Anytime you get into the history books, it’s a great feat for anybody no matter what it is. But something like that at wide receiver, it’s definitely a goal of mine. The fact it’s happened on the NFL level is a big deal to me. Hopefully I can chase that rabbit and I can get it — but ultimately we want some more wins. We want to win out.”

Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner on how well Josh Gordon has matured and learned a bit faster than other young receivers around the league.  “He’s way ahead of the young receivers I’ve been around in terms of the way he has developed through this year,” said offensive coordinator Norv Turner. “(It’s the combination of his ability to make big plays and he’s developing as a route runner. In college, they’re not running the disciplined routes that we’d ask a guy to run. He’s improved in that area.”

>Extremely hard to argue with this logic.  Ohio State’s huge win against Michigan on the last play(a failed 2 pt conversion by Michigan) of the game, and Auburns’ huge win over Alabama were amazing games to watch.  Tomorrow’s Browns vs Jaguars game at 1pm…..eh, not so much!!

>This was a great picture posted by the Browns twitter page.  I believe the picture speaks for itself, just awesome!!!
