Breakfast with Brownie

Good Morning Browns Fans and Happy Gameday!!
The Browns take on the 9-3 New England Patriots today at 1PM in Foxborough.
All signs point to this game being an easy win at home for a Patriots team that is looking to secure a bye down the stretch. The only way

to see to it that they achieve that first round bye is to start with taking care of the Browns at home on Sunday.
The young Browns defense will attempt to keep quarterback Tom Brady off his game and try to disrupt him early to see if they can hold down the Patriots offense enough to allow the Browns offense to make some plays and score points.
When asked about the challenge this young defense faces, safety Tashaun Gibson had this to say yesterday.
“It’s a challenge definitely,” said safety Tashaun Gipson. “You’ve got a good quarterback who coach (Ray) Horton believes is probably one of the best quarterbacks to ever play, and I agree with him. But when I take the field Sunday, when we take the field, it’s not going to be that wow factor. Our mindset is he’s just another nameless, faceless quarterback to us, and we definitely want to make sure we capitalize on the mistakes he makes.”
Well we shall see what happens later today, but I for one don’t see the Browns pulling this one-off on the road.

Browns safety T.J. Ward on facing the 9-3 New England Patriots on Sunday. “I’m 1-0 against Brady so I can say that,” said Ward. “But we’re just hoping to win this game. That was (three) years ago. A completely different team, completely different system. Everything was different, but I feel we have a confident team in general. We’re going to come in and play with that confidence.
“There’s this quote that when your heroes become your opponents you know you’re doing something right.”
Browns free safety Tashaun Gibson on facing future hall of famer Tom Brady. “You just see the competitive edge on film, his understanding of the game,” said Gipson. “He makes throws that the average quarterback wouldn’t make, that probably three quarterbacks in this league can make. His pocket presence. The list can go on and on and I think that he’s just the complete quarterback. He can’t run that fast, but besides that from a mental standpoint, from an accuracy standpoint, from a throwing-power standpoint, he would be your ideal, prototypical quarterback. We’re definitely going to have our work cut out for us Sunday.”

>One of my personal friends Michelle likening the Ohio State loss to the depression that Sunday’s have become watching the Browns every Sunday. Don’t worry she has not swallowed any pills, but is still extremely depressed!! Cleveland sports.. smh
>Another one of my twitter friends with a very funny and in some cases true assessment of the remaining games for the Browns. I agree and I don’t like deliberately tanking, however, the Browns need to lose out and go grab a franchise quarterback…period!!
