Morning Browns Fans and Happy Gameday!!!

Well our Cleveland Browns are in New York today to face the 6-8 New York Jets at MetLife Stadium at 1PM.

We are down to two games remaining counting today’s game, and where the Browns draft in May is determined by the outcome the next couple weeks.

The Browns will be without wide receiver Davone Bess, who was put on the NFI(non football injured) list on Friday due to a “serious” family issue.  Bess was part of a draft day trade with the Miami Dolphins.  His presence was supposed to bolster the Browns receiving core, but his season was marred with drops, and pretty uneventful to say the least.

Here’s to another Browns’ gameday and as you all know, I won’t be disappointed with a loss, due to the Brownies jockeying for position in the 2014 NFL draft in May.

Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg on Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith.  “I’m even more certain now than I was earlier that he could be a really good one,” Mornhinweg told the Associated Press and other Jets reporters this week. “I don’t think there’s any question.”

Jets head coach Rex Ryan on Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith on starting for the team the rest of the year and beyond.  “Anytime you’re starting a rookie quarterback trying to adapt to this league, it’s not easy,” Ryan said on a conference call Wednesday. “Geno had to get used to the three-step, five-step and seven-step drops at the pro level. Ball security was certainly an issue. Are we still making mistakes? Absolutely, but I think he’s done a good job. You don’t want him to be so afraid of turning the ball over that he won’t pull the trigger.”

>Adam definitely has a positive outlook on what a Browns win would mean tomorrow, but is that more important than draft position? I don’t think so!

>It is no secret that a ton of Browns fans are clamoring for “Touchdown Johnny.”  Will it happen depends on what value the front office has put on him.  We will have to wait until May to see which way they go.
