Morning Browns Fans!!!

All the talk in Cleveland yesterday was center Alex Mack and strong safety T.J.Ward expressing their interest in

staying with the Browns and not flying the co0p and signing elsewhere.

These two players are the biggest free agents the Browns could lose in free agency this offseason.

Personally, I believe both of these guys should be resigned and there should be no question or debating about it.

On the one hand, you have Mack, who is the heart and soul of the offensive line and a pro bowler.  All the offensive line calls come from the center position and you would be hard pressed to find a better center in the league that does it as well as Alex Mack.

On the other hand, you have Ward, who is arguably the heart and soul of this Browns defense.  Whenever they need a pick me up, it’s Ward laying a big hit, or coming up with a clutch interception or fumble recovery.  Without T.J. roaming in the defensive backfield on Sundays for the Browns, I believe this defense loses it’s ferocity a bit, and instantly becomes a weaker unit.

With the start of free agency not too far off, we will find out sooner or later the fate of these two men…

Browns center Alex Mack on giving the Browns a chance to match any offer before he signed with another team in the offseason.  “Being in Cleveland is nice,” Mack told cleveland.com last week. “I have good friends on the team, I like the coaches, it’s a nice place.”

>Imagine what Josh Gordon would do with a franchise quarterback under center.  The thought it frightening!!!

>Congratulations to Josh Gordon and Joe Thomas for this very prestigious honor.  Can’t wait to see what this team can do next year with a few more solid draft picks in May.
