Scratch another option off of the list as well as another potential contender for head coaches.  The Tennessee Titans have come to terms with Ken Whisenhunt as their head coach.  Whisenhunt had interviewed with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday in a series of interviews this past week.  He had been serving as the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers and with their loss to the Denver Broncos yesterday, he was free to become a head coach.

Whisenhunt had previously been the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, leading them to the Super Bowl, but having the team fall apart after the retirement of quarterback Kurt Warner.  To this point, Whisenhunt is the only candidate the Browns have talked to both this year and last.

The Browns interviewed Mike Munchak, formerly of those same Titans, today.  Many expected Whisenhunt to actually end up with the Detroit Lions but Munchak has a chance to end up there after reportedly impressing their front office in his interview there.
