Breakfast with Brownie
By Mike
Good Morning Browns Fans!!
So yesterday saw another coaching name thrown into the hat, as we found out the Browns will bring in Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine to interview for the vacant head coaching job.
Pettine ran a pretty successful hybrid defense that combines the 3-4 and 4-3 concepts, which is as close as you are gonna find to

what Ray Horton ran with the Browns this past year.
Yesterday also saw owner Jimmy Haslam, pen a letter to Browns fans trying to explain the methodical approach the front office is using in their coaching search, and stressed they are waiting until after the playoffs, so they can interview the playoff coaches they are fond of.
Letter or no letter, this front office seems to be running a little towards the dysfunctional side of things, starting with the abrupt firing of their so-called “right” guy for the job, in former head coach Rob Chudzinski.
One thing we do know is the search will carry into February, and whoever it is that they hire, will be a little behind the eight ball with the May draft quickly approaching at that point…

>Well maybe we found the real reason why Bess couldn’t play a lick this year!!! He found a new way of life and didn’t bother to tell the Browns. Think they should have done their homework before they traded a pick for this guy?
>Well I guess if you look at it like Schefter does, it isn’t all bad that we are the only ones left without a head coach. Even if it’s not that attractive, it’s all there is!!!
