Just spoke to @LSUCoachCam (Cam Cameron). He told me that he's not going anywhere & that he plans on being with @lsufball for a long time.

According to the Sports Information Director of LSU, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is not going to leave Baton Rouge anytime soon and plans to be there a long time. Cameron had been linked to the Cleveland Browns as a potential offensive coordinator in a report from Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer.
The timing might have made sense for Cameron to leave given the overwhelming amount of talent the Tigers are losing. Quarterback Zach Mettenberger, running back Jeremy Hill, wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry and offensive guard Trai Turner are among the notables they are losing.
LSU does have Leonard Fournette, the top back in the country coming to Baton Rouge and the younger brother of Philip Rivers as a possible quarterback next year. Whether this was a matter of a reporter connecting dots and Cameron taking himself out of a job search he was never in or a legitimate thanks but no thanks remains to be seen.
