After moving down and getting an extra 1st round and 4th round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns gave up 145th pick in the 5th round to move up a slot, flipping spots with the Minnesota Vikings and selected Justin Gilbert from Oklahoma State.
In Gilbert, they have another cornerback to play opposite of Joe Haden that would be kicking Buster Skrine to the slot. The good news is that Gilbert has all of the measurables in the world and he can make plays on the ball. The bad news is that Gilbert has not hit anything yet and he makes missteps in coverage that gives up a ton of separation at times.
With quarterback still up in the air, the question is whether the Browns will stand pat at 26 or more likely move up in the draft to get their guy, whoever it is. The Browns should have a strong secondary with a possible question at free safety. So, the Browns have gotten Justin Gilbert, a 1st and 4th in 2015 and spent a 5th round pick thus far.
