In spite of the news that Josh Gordon and the seeming pressure to add a wide receiver, the Cleveland Browns opted to go with offensive line help by picking Nevada offensive tackle Joel Bitonio.  Bitonio has the ability to play all five spots on the line but will likely contribute at either right guard or right tackle for the Browns.

The Browns made the smart play in protecting their investment in Johnny Manziel at quarteraback as well as helping Ben Tate running the ball.  Bitonio plays with a nasty mean streak and is a finisher.  He has experience at left tackle and played it at a high level in college, taking on DeMarcus Lawrence, Shaquil Barrett, Anthony Barr and Florida State’s defensive ends.

For those interested, here is an interview I did with Bitonio .  He is extremely passionate about the game and has the drive to be successful.  Here is my scouting report on Joel Bitonio.  This is a pick I was hoping for over the course of the draft period and target as someone that would be a great fit in a zone scheme as well as at right tackle.
