The Cleveland Browns were not done on day two of the draft and traded back into the end of the third day of the NFL Draft.  They picked Terrance West, running back from Towson.  This might come as a surprise to some, but the Browns have no less than three members of their coaching staff that played their college football at Towson, so if anyone was going to know about West, it was the Browns.

West dominated the FCS playoffs, carrying the Tigers to the FCS Championship game where they fell short against a dominant North Dakota State team.  West looked the part of a big back in the FCS, but he actually is more of a balanced runner at around 225lbs.  He knows how to run in a zone scheme and here is the scouting report on him.  The Browns did need another back to put behind Ben Tate.

The Browns gave up their 6th round pick to move up 14 slots and now are scheduled to pick with their pick they got from the Indianapolis Colts.
