Josh Gordon Signing Autographs with Teammates in Willoughby

Josh Gordon is still involved with his teammates, at least today, as Joe Lull is reported that he, Brian Hoyer, Alex Mack, Karlos Dansby and Jabaal Sheard are signing autographs in Willoughby:

Gordon is allowed to be around his teammates, just not around the facility or any of the Browns other employees (coaches, front office, medical, etc) during his suspension. While his teammates may feel let down by Gordon’s decision, Joe Thomas made it clear he was also frustrated with the NFL.

  • Gordon may again enter a rehab facility, he was in one for a short time before returning to the Browns for Training Camp. It will be important for Gordon’s NFL future that he follows both the NFL’s rules as well all state and local laws, obviously. Doing well during his time away will help him get reinstated as quickly as possible, as early as the completion of this season. It will also be good for his long term health.

There are many things that could be problems for Gordon, spending as much time as he can with his teammates outside of the facility isn’t one of them. It seems like it is his other associations that are bad for him. Doesn’t excuse his decision making. It just means he may need to limit his contact with those bad influences.

If you are near by this might be your last chance to see Gordon this season. Go, take pictures and send them our way. Obviously Lull isn’t very impressed with him.

What are your feelings toward Gordon now? This is mine toward Gordon, the NFL and the Browns.
