Record: 8 – 8
Based on our prediction the Browns are going to be better than most expect. It still will not be enough to make it to the playoffs but a sign of progress. The Browns defense and their running game do enough to keep the team in most games. Kyle Shanahan is able to muster enough creative pass game concepts to make the offense respectable. Mike Pettine is given respect around the league and the Browns extra draft picks come in handy to continue to upgrade a roster that still have holes in a variety of spots. Most fans would take an 8 – 8 record and go home. The great thing about the NFL is you never know how each season is going to play out.
