The Cleveland Browns face off with the Jacksonville Jaguars today. The Browns have a number of injuries that could cause problems for the team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. That makes the Browns injury report very important today. With Armonty Bryant, Billy Winn and Phil Taylor out, Ahtyba Rubin‘s questionable status needs to be answered. Tashaun Gipson has been a huge key for the defensive secondary and he is also questionable.

We start with the good news, Gipson is active:

How not practicing all week will impact him, and whether he can stay healthy and on the field the whole game are all still questions. Jordan Poyer and Jim Leonhard are likely to get time behind him. On to the bad news, as well as the other Inactives for today:

Rubin is out, creating a bigger problem on the defensive line. That line, which was seen to have huge depth all off-season, is now down to a very interesting, and unimpressive group:

Kitchen was not active until last week. Hughes has struggled with injuries. Fua was out of football for the first 6 weeks of the season and McDaniel was just called up from the practice squad.

A couple other interesting inactives are Desir and Winston. We knew Williams would be out which could have led to Desir playing but obviously the rookie hasn’t shown the progressed hoped for to get him on the field. Winston played a ton on special teams the last few weeks, and was one reason Terrance West was inactive last week. The Browns had to find depth in other areas due to injuries which likely hurt Winston’s chances of getting on the field.

Which injury/inactive could be the worst for the team?
