Vontaze Burfict Likely Out For Browns Game
The Cleveland Browns may have finally been the beneficiary of the injury bug. After losing starters Alex Mack, Phil Taylor and Armonty Bryant for games or the season to injuries, as well as countless others, the Browns will likely face the rival Cincinnati Bengals without one of their stars: Vontaze Burfict. Burfict is likely out for the next two games following a knee surgery:
While the Browns would never celebrate any injury it is a huge break for the team. Burfict was a talented player coming out of college but his off the field issues and on the field control problems caused him to go undrafted.

Since his rookie season he has been a highly impactful player for the Bengals. He has still struggled with self control on the field but has stayed mostly quite off.
For the Browns Burfict’s absence will help the run game imensly. Burfict has become great at blitzing gaps as well as pursuing sideline to sideline. The Bengals are still a highly talented team up front, including Geno Atkins who seems to be rounding in to form after missing last season.
Anything can happen this week but looking forward to the big Thursday Night game and Vontaze Burfict likely being out is a good thing for the Browns as they try to compete in the AFC North.
