Andrew Hawkins OUT for Thursday Night Football
Andrew Hawkins was hoping to have a chance to prove to his old team, the Cincinatti Bengals, that they made a poor choice. He was going to get his first shot on national TV, tonight on Thursday Night Football, instead he was just ruled out for the game:
Hawkins has been a vital part of the Browns passing game, often Brian Hoyer‘s first option on third downs and in the redzone. With Jordan Cameron also out tonight the Browns receiving corp has been stripped to their bare bones.
The veteran Miles Austin will start and Taylor Gabriel, undrafted rookie, will take Hawkins place. Travis Benjamin and Marlon Moore will also likely see time on the field.

With weather conditions likely to be poor expect short passes and a ton of handoffs tonight.
Hawkins leads the Browns in receptions and yards but hurt his leg last week against the Bucs. Hawkins was the first player on the field to warm up and expectations were high that he would be able to make it to game time. The cold, wet conditions likely did not help matters.
The Browns will have no excuses on their spotlight night. The Bengals will also likely be without many starters as well. Had this game been a Sunday game many of the starters who will be out would likely play.
How bad does this impact the Browns chances of winning?
