The Browns are unlikely to sign another cornerback NFL Free Agent if they do not re-sign Buster Skrine. Skrine is likely to get a bigger contract than the Browns will want to give him.

Charles Tillman, Peanut Tillman to many, is the type of veteran that would fit right in with the motto “Play like a Brown.” Tillman has struggled with injuries but could still be a great addition. He gives the Browns another player that will help on the field but also mentor Justin Gilbert, K’Waun Williams and Pierre Desir.

The Browns are not likely to look for a young player that will take a bunch of cap space. While they have the space, with Joe Haden taking a bunch of money, Tashaun Gipson likely to get a big raise this year and Donte Whitner‘s contract the secondary has already been paid big.

Tillman would be on a 1 or 2 year deal but likely won’t get big money

Other options: Aaron Ross, Carlos Rogers, Rashean Mathis
