NFL Mock Drafts: Choose Your Favorite 2 Round Mock
This weekend we filled your appetite for NFL Mock Drafts for the Cleveland Browns. We brought you FOUR different Two Round Mocks that could reasonably happen for the team. With the Browns having 3 picks in the first two rounds the team could be dramatically changed by what direction the Browns go with those picks.
Here is a quick review of our Four different NFL Mock Drafts from this weekend. To read all the details, thoughts and explanation just click on the Mock’s name for it to open in a new window.
All Defense 2 Round Browns NFL Mock Draft
#12 – Danny Shelton – The Browns add the massive Shelton to improve their interior defense.
#19 – Arik Armstead – A big, long prototypical 3-4 defensive end is perfect next to Shelton and across from Desmond Bryant. Browns last place run defense instantly upgraded.
#43 – Benardrick McKinney – A thumper of an inside linebacker, McKinney is the long term replacement for Karlos Dansby and the perfect partner for Christian Kirksey
The QB and His Weapons 2 Round Browns NFL Mock Draft
#12 – Marcus Mariota – The QB that is more likely to fall, over Jameis Winston, is Mariota. Browns could trade up a little bit to get him as well. Work ethic, frame and foundation all great. Needs time to develop.
#19 – Devin Funchess – An elite athlete that can play on the outside or as a big slot receiver. Either way Mariota gets a #1 type receiver with a huge catch radius.
#43 – Maxx Williams – With Funchess on the outside, Mariota gets the young QBs best friend in an athletic, big tight end in Williams. The drop off after Williams is pretty big at the position.
The All Offense 2 Round Browns NFL Mock Draft
#12 – Devante Parker – Parker has the elite skill set that will translate to the next level. He can run deep, catch across the middle and make people miss. Helpful for whoever is QB.
#19 – Devin Funchess – Same as the 2nd Mock but this time the Browns can move him all over the field with Parker taking care of outside duties. Parker and Taylor Gabriel outside and Funchess and Andrew Hawkins inside would create nightmares for opponents.
#43 – Cameron Erving – A player that could literally fill any role on the offensive line. He could fight to start at either right guard or right tackle while giving the Browns a center, where he played last year, to back up Alex Mack if he gets hurt or leaves after the season.
The Balanced 2 Round Browns NFL Mock Draft
#12 – Kevin White – Here the Browns get the receiver that some have higher than Amari Cooper. White has been compared to Larry Fitzgerald and could be hard for Ray Farmer to pass up.
#19 – Eddie Goldman – Here the Browns get a nose tackle/defensive tackle type that can fill a big need on the defensive line. Goldman could go much higher on draft day based on his scheme versatility.
#43 – Ereck Flowers – Flowers gives the Browns another option on the offensive line. Erving obviously would be an option as well but Flowers has left tackle upside that Erving may not.
