The Cleveland Browns have admitted that they are on the look out for their next starting quarterback. Both HC Mike Pettine and GM Ray Farmer has made it clear that they will look at the NFL Draft, free agency and trades to fill that need. Basically the “no stone unturned” philosophy is in full effect.

Since the Browns have now admitted that they need and will look to add a QB it is time to look at the options. So here are some disclaimers before we get started:

  • This is my list, you may disagree.
  • This is not taking into account the cost of acquiring said players.
  • This is looking at players fit for the Browns, not overall talent.
  • Only players that we have heard may be available via trade will be mentioned.
  • We may have missed someone, so please let us know if you think we did.
    • Ryan Mallett would have been on the list, likely #4 but reports are he is re-signing with Houston.
  • We will do 15 players total, 5 on each page, with a description of what we think about them.

54. The Eagles have reportedly been interested in moving <strong><a href=. Quarterback. Eagles. Nick Foles. 2. player

48. The Bucs will likely draft Winston and have already released <strong><a href=. Quarterback. Tampa Bay. Mike Glennon. 4. player

70. Hundley was considered a mid to high 1st round pick last year but has fallen in many analysts boards. Farmer has reportedly had some interest in Hundley last year and could go after him this season. Hundley is a great athlete with a good arm but has issues with accuracy, struggles with progessions and his footwork leaves something to be desired. Like Mariota, Hundley needs time to develop but if put in the right system over time could develop well. Hundley looks like he would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. If the Browns sign or trade for a veteran then drafting Hundley makes a lot of sense.. Quarterback. UCLA. Brett Hundley. 5. player
