The Cleveland Browns have been somewhat active already in NFL Free Agency. They signed Josh McCown and Brian Hartline to fill in needs at the quarterback and wide receiver positions. Neither is considered a high level player both signed small deals and should contribute on and off the field.

While there has been talk of signings, talk of certain contracts and talk of mutual interest between teams and players, today is NFL Free Agency’s Opening Day. Today at 4PM teams and players can officially announce and sign contracts. We expect that the flood gates might start to open earlier in the day with news and rumors of signings. We will continue to cover anything and everything connected to the Browns right here.

Before the day starts however, we want to make a few bold predictions. We think that the quiet comes before the storm. We also believe that, after Text-gate, the Browns are trying to follow the NFL’s rules during Tampering Days to a “T”. The NFL isn’t happy that contracts have already been negotiated and details leaked. Some have reported that the Browns have demanded quiet from all those involved.

That doesn’t mean we can’t make some bold predictions about today, some based solely on the quiet some not. So here we go with our three predictions and the excitement we have about them:
