New Browns Jerseys Leaked? If So, Not Impressed
The Cleveland Browns have made a big deal out of their changes that they are making to the look of the team. The new logo flopped but the new Browns jerseys are suppose to save the day. The jerseys are set to debut later this month but a picture floating around Twitter could be a leak of what they might look like:
Obviously Josh is not impressed but we will get to that in a second.
There is actually a lot about this jersey that says it could truly be ONE of the jerseys that the Browns will use. Remember that Donte Whitner said that there were 9 color combinations, we talked about what that could mean here. The Nike and NFL Symbols seem to be in the right place. The letters and numbers seem right, the “Dawg Pound” on the inside of the collar matches an emphasis they are placing on it.
A yet we agree with Josh. These look like cheaply made jerseys. The material seems wrong. The quality seems wrong.
There is even something about the setup. We tried to zoom in around the picture to find something to give us more information but we couldn’t. Yet there are only 2 jerseys hanging and the one Dawg Pound shirt behind is on a rake with a bunch of white shirts, obviously planted. It could be that whoever took the picture got them out of boxes real quick to setup for the picture. It just seems off.

This could be a leak of one of the jersey options that will be revealed later this month. It also could just be a warehouse somewhere that someone hung up some fake jerseys that someone made and is trying to pass them off as real.
If they are real, maybe they will look better in the light or on players. If they are fake, they set the bar pretty low for our expectations of the true jersey reveal. Remember when everyone was so sure that the Paul Brown silhouette that was leaked was the new logo? We all know how that worked out.
