With just hours to go until the official unveiling of the long-awaited Cleveland Browns new uniforms twitter is a buzz with more possible leaks. Earlier today twitter users were hard at work pushing out the latest reported leak of the uni, once again these leaks come courtesy of a retail stores and the employees attempting to be first to show off the collection. One such photo had the entire Johnny Manziel collection including the thus far unleaked ‘Brown Jerseys’. The Browns have previously stated that the uniforms have not shipped and will be available first after the uniform unveiling event Tuesday night. This is the second time this “Orange Alternate” jersey has been spotted via twitter, and it seems to be similar to the orange jersey that was spotted on the twitter leaked “Browns 2015 Style Guide”. The new ‘Brown Jerseys’ and the ‘White Jerseys’ seem to differ from the previously mentioned “Browns 2015 Style Guide”, and have Orange lettering which seems to be a prominent color in the new leak. In previous leaks of the ‘White Jerseys’ you could only see the upper half which did not include the numbers.
Apparently the Browns new uniforms are the worst kept secret in the NFL at this point, and ranks second only to the fact that Chip Kelly would love to acquire Marcus Mariota in the upcoming draft. The Browns will “officially” unveil their new uniforms during a 2-hour event at the Cleveland Convention Center on April 14th, and Owner Jimmy Haslam, president Alec Scheiner, current players, team alumni and representatives from Nike will all be on hand to show them off to the public. According to the Browns official site:
"The list of nine players who will model the jerseys are: Joe Thomas, Donte Whitner, Karlos Dansby, Barkevious Mingo, Dwayne Bowe, Brian Hartline, Armonty Bryant, Chris Kirksey and Taylor Gabriel. Nine different alumni will also stroll down the orange carpet Tuesday, including Hall of Famer Jim Brown, Greg Pruitt, Hanford Dixon, Jamel White, Dan Fike, Bob Golic, John Thierry, Felix Wright and Kevin Mack."
We will all just have to tune in to the official unveiling tonight and find out if the latest batch of leaks are true and what other changes are in store for the Browns heading into the 2015 NFL Season.
What do you think of the latest twitter leaks, and are you impressed?
