The 2015 NFL Draft might be official ending, but the Cleveland Browns are hard at work finding gems that have went undrafted. Listed below is a table of undraft free agent players that have been rumored to have been contacted and signed by the Browns, and most of the sources are through twitter responses.
It’s important to remember that just because they go undraft that quality players can not be signed after the draft. Browns GM Ray Farmer found and signed QB Connor Shaw, RB Isaiah Crowell, WR Taylor Gabriel, and CB K’Waun Williams during this time last year. All four saw the field in 2014 NFL season, especially Crowell, Gabriel, and Williams. Shaw got to start the final game of the 2014 season against Baltimore, and despite being on the practice squad all season he showed that he knew the playbook and was able to execute several impressive drives.
The Cleveland Browns have about 70 players on their roster heading into the draft, and they drafted 12 players. if the number is officially 82 players, they can only signed about 8 UDFA, to head into camp with the maximum allowed , which is 90 players.
What do you think of some of the rumored UDFA’s?
