Right before the season starts, I, as well as the rest of the staff here at Dawg Pound Daily, will give you our predictions for the 2015 season. But this post is about you, the fans. We want to gauge the confidence level of the Cleveland Browns fanbase.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

So many variables go into making a pre-season prediction. Who knows who’s going to get hurt, who’s going to slump, and who’s going to surprise. It’s a crapshoot. The Browns enter the season with two big questions at the quarterback position:

1. Can Josh McCown control games in time of possession, and be a viable option at quarterback?

2. When will Johnny Manziel take over as the starter?

The defensive side of the football team is full of proven skill players. With a defensive-minded head coach in Mike Pettine, not many are worried about their production. In a league where three-plus wide receiver sets are so prevelant, the Browns have the perfect roster to combat that style. I can’t think of a team deeper at the cornerback position, which bodes well in a pass-happy league.

We all know the fate of this team relies on the quarterback position. Period. End of story. In a division with Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco and even Andy Dalton, you have to be able to trust your own signal caller. I know I’m repeating myself when I say this, but converting on third down will make or break this Browns’ season. If they can run the ball effectively, and just ask McCown or Manziel to move the chains, I think this team has a real shot to contend for a playoff spot.

So, that’s just my quick analysis of the 2015 Browns, what’s yours? Tweet @DawgPoundDaily your prediction for the Browns in 2015, and vote in the poll below for how many games you see them winning.
