“On the injury front, Josh (McCown) is still in the concussion protocol. He’s making progress but we won’t know the status until he’s fully cleared to return,” head coach Mike Pettine told the media on Wednesday. “Johnny (Manziel) will take snaps with the ones today. (Scott) Solomon will miss some time, has an ankle sprain. He’ll be out at least a couple of weeks.
“Having the depth in that room with Nate Orchard showing progress, he’s in a much better place with his back that he should be able to step in there. Karlos Dansby has a foot (injury). He’ll be day-to -day. We should have everybody else out there, at least on a limited basis.”
For the Titans, tight end Delanie Walker (hand), running back Antonio Andrews (hamstring), defensive lineman Sammie Hill (knee), cornerback Jason McCourty (groin) and cornerback Cody Riggs (knee) all did not practice.
The definitions for the various designations are:
- Full Participation (FP)=100% of player’s normal reps
- Limited (LP)=less than 100% of player’s normal reps
- Did Not Participate in Practice (DNP)
