The Cleveland Browns will take on one of their longtime tormenters today when they face the Denver Broncos at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Browns have lost 10 consecutive games to Denver and only beaten the Broncos five times in franchise history.

The Broncos come into the game ranked 30th in the NFL in offense, but the Browns will be without two starters in the secondary, as Tashaun Gipson and Joe Haden are both out.

“With (Haden and Gipson), it would have been a challenge and it will still be a challenge now,” defensive back Tramon Williams said. “We know that, so we just have to play good team ball and hopefully we give a good showing for the fans.”

On the other side, Josh McCown and his sore ankle will lead the Browns 8th-ranked offense against Denver’s top-ranked defense.

“To say that this is going to be a challenge for us this week is obviously an understatement,” offensive coordinator John DeFilippo said. “The Denver Broncos defense is a fabulous unit. They are ranked number one in the league for a reason and they show it on the field. Not only up front in their front seven, but also in their secondary. They play with a ton of speed and a ton of energy and they rally to the football better than most teams I have seen in the league so far this season.”
