Cleveland Browns:
"Almost from the day he put pen to paper on his contract, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been the focal point of anger from fans and questioning from the media. A member of the inactive list in four of Cleveland’s first six games, Bowe has only been on the field for 12 offensive plays, and has yet to post a reception. In the meantime, much has been made of the $9 million in guaranteed money that is in Bowe’s contract."
Browns run defense must improve against Todd Gurley, Rams
"The Cleveland Browns travel to St. Louis as they take on the Rams at the Edward Jones Dome this Sunday. Despite both teams only having two wins thus far the season, they’ve both shown flashes of true potential. However, the Rams have the cornerstone of their franchise named Todd Gurley who is a rookie running back that has the potential to be the next great one."
Cleveland Browns injury report: secondary still hurting

Cornerback Joe Haden missed practice as he remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol, while safety Tashaun Gipson was also out as he still is recovering from an ankle injury."
Gary Barnidge loves football, Cate Blanchett and these five movies (ESPN)
"The cinema vérité production of Gary Barnidge’s life these days would show him as a touchdown-producing machine for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. During the week, though, the camera would follow him into movie houses two or three times to pursue his other passion: Film. It would catch him seated at his computer, writing a review of the latest movie he saw. And it would scan his collection of 3,000-plus movies that includes the original versions of Nosferatu, the Dracula film released in 1922, and the original Frankenstein with Boris Karloff (1931)."

St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley will have another standout game Sunday (Ramblin’ Fan)
"The St. Louis Rams knew exactly what kind of player they were getting their hands on when they drafted running back Todd Gurley 10th overall in the past NFL Draft, and he has done nothing but impress. Gurley has a total of 305 yards through the past two games. That is what you call production and prepare for more of the same come Sunday."
Rex Ryan on Percy Harvin: ‘I dont know where he is right now’ (ESPN)
"Buffalo Bills wide receiver Percy Harvin has grown increasingly frustrated with hip and knee injuries that are expected to sideline him indefinitely but he is not contemplating retirement, a source told ESPN. The Buffalo News reported earlier Thursday that Harvin was considering retiring because of a lingering hip injury that has limited his practice time this season and kept him out of Sunday’s 34-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals."
