The Cleveland Browns will look to break a seven-game losing streak when they host the San Francisco 49ers today at FirstEnergy Stadium.
What is there left to be said about the Cleveland Browns at this point of the season?
The Browns come into today’s game against the San Francisco 49ers on a seven-game losing streak. The team is also looking for its first win in the month of December since the 2012 season.
The big story of the day is the return of Johnny Manziel to the starting quarterback role for the Browns, which is at least something, we suppose.
“Each and every time I have got on the field, I have gotten a chance to go out and play better than I have before,” Manziel said about his latest return. “I have showed improvement, at least in my eyes. There are going to be people that maybe think what they think, but every time I have gone out, I have felt more comfortable and felt better prepared than I did the last time that I was on the field. I don’t expect that to be any different.
“Do I expect to come out and have the same numbers or have the same stats or anything like that? No, because each week is a week in its own. At the same time, I do expect to go out and have things slow down, continue to slow down and continue to progress as a quarterback and play in this position.”
