Three distinct possibilities have emerged for what the Cleveland Browns can do with Johnny Manziel in 2016.

Johnny Manziel. Johnny Manziel. Johnny Manziel.

I said it three times did he go away?

The Cleveland Browns have a big decision to make once this season ends. Well, they have many big decisions to make. Jimmy Haslam must decide if he wants to keep Ray Farmer and Mike Pettine. Pettine seems to stand a better chance at this point, but I wouldn’t put anything past this franchise, new ownership or not.

But the decision that will stand out in the media and be talked about until a move is made, is the one regarding Manziel. He has performed well the last two games, and has started two of the three wins for the Browns this season. Sure, those came against two of the worst teams in the NFL, but wins nonetheless.

The Browns will most likely have one of the top three picks in the draft, so a quarterback is always an option. The stocks of the quarterbacks will rise and fall between now and the draft, but Paxton Lynch seems to be the best choice right now. Good enough for a top overall pick? Probably not, which is why the Browns may not acquire any new quarterbacks.

But will they lose Manziel? Let’s look at the three potential scenarios for Manziel in 2016.
