Johnson Bademosi, 25, 6-foot, 200 pounds, Stanford University, 4-year veteran

Bademosi is not known for his cornerback skills, but during the 2015 season was the Browns special teams’ ace. Bademosi, who mostly plays on kickoff and punt coverages, excelled on the field and earned Pro Bowl honors for his play during the 2015 campaign.

Bademosi is similar to Benni Thompson, a special teams’ ace for the Browns in the early 1990s who wreaked havoc on kickoffs and punts. The Browns should be able to resign Bademosi without breaking the bank, and his return would only help solidify the special teams.

If he outprices himself to the Browns, then it’s best the team move forward without him. We’re banking that he resigns at a reasonable rate.

Bademosi: STAY

Next: Wide receiver Travis Benjamin
